slughorn's memory: Why DD made so fuss about it?
Why dumbledore created so fuss about bring slughorn's memory? The memory contained slughorn's anwers to Riddle's Question, "what is a horcrux". Did dumbledore not know Whats a horcrux is? Then why did he not tell harry right away? instead kept telling, "we can not proceed untill you bring Slughorn's Memory".

Dumbledore was simply using Slughorn's memory for confirmation of what he already had a good idea of.
